1. Preheat oven to 155 degrees. Grease & line a large loaf tin.
2. Chop dates & pecans. In a large saucepan, heat dates, water & honey for about 3 mins (or microwave). Stir in butter & sugar, stir until melted. Stir in egg, flour & pecans until combined. Transfer to the greased loaf tin & bake for 1 hr.

Baking Time: 1 hr
Serves: 8-10 people
Baking Temperature: 155°C
Tips: Use walnuts instead of pecans.
If using an egg replacer you may need to increase
the cooking time
