Cheesey Onion Slice

Ingredients

340g Melinda’s Gluten-Free Self Raising Flour
2g teaspoon salt
1g teaspoon cayenne pepper
90g butter
190g grated cheese
250ml milk
2 onions
2 garlic cloves
300ml sour cream
100g gluten-free plain potato chips


Method

1. Grease 20 x 30cm lamington tin. Sift flour, salt & cayenne into a bowl. Rub in 1 1/2 tablespoons of margarine or butter.Stir in 1/2 cup cheese & add enough milk to form a dough. Press into base of prepared tin.
2. To make topping, heat remaining margarine or butter in a pan, add sliced onions & crushed garlic. Cook, stirring until soft. Remove from heat, stir in sour cream & spread over dough. Sprinkle with remaining cheese & crushed chips.
3. Cook in 190 degree oven for 35 mins or until base cooked through. Serve warm.
