*Baking Note: to ensure a thick cake batter please use room temperature eggs and softened butter (rather than melted)

*Lactose Free Friends: You can use either the Liddell’s Cream Cheese Spread or a Soy Cream Cheese to making the icing.

*About the colour: We proudly use a natural red colour which results in a deep red cake once baked. Due to the nature of natural colours you may encounter a slight variation between different batches. There is no effect to the taste or texture.

Creative Variations

Crumble some cake sprinkle around the outsides. Add an extra layer to your cake for a triple layered cake.

If your cake batter is not thickened during beating make sure you are using room temperature eggs and try softened butter (rather than melted)
